Samsung Officially Releases One UI 8.5 Update for Galaxy S25 and S24 Series

It's taken quite a while, but the beta program is finished and starting today, Samsung is rolling out the update to One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S24 family, the Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7, Fold6, Flip6, Galaxy Tab S11 line, and Galaxy Tab S10 models.

The rollout is starting in Korea today, with additional regions to get it in the next few days and weeks if no issues are found in the meantime. Samsung has been beta testing One UI 8.5 on its older high-end devices since December.

The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra all launched running One UI 8.5, so it's good to finally see Samsung's latest Android skin slowly becoming available on other devices as well.

Samsung has officially begun rolling out One UI 8.5 to several flagship Galaxy devices after months of beta testing. The rollout starts in South Korea and will expand globally over the coming days and weeks.

Samsung has also optimized the UI for foldables and tablets with better split-screen handling and multitasking performance.

The update rollout officially starts in Korea first. If no major bugs are found, Samsung will continue releasing it across:

Middle East.

Users in Nigeria may begin seeing the update notification within days or weeks depending on carrier and region.
